SV Christmas Pudding 800g

INGREDIENTS: sultanas 23%, sugar, currants 12%, WHEAT flour (with calcium, iron, niacin, thiamine), vegetable oils (rapeseed, sunflower, cottonseed), EGG, cane molasses, glacé cherries 4.5% (cherries, glucose fructose syrup, sugar, acidity regulator (E330), colour (E163), black carrot extract), partially rehydrated dried apple, dark rum 2.5%, sherry 2.5%, mixed peel (orange peel, glucose fructose syrup, lemon peel, sugar, acidity regulator (E330)), salt, mixed spice, yeast. WARNING: although every care has been taken to remove all fruit stalks and stones, some may remain.ALLERGENS: in CAPITALS, containing GLUTEN. May also contain traces of PEANUTS, NUTS, MILK, SOYA. NUTRITION per 100g: energy 1436kJ 340kcal, fat 6.9g, saturates 0.6g, carbohydrate 65g, sugars 47g, fibre 2.6g, protein 3.2g, salt 0.48g. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and odours. Once opened, consume within 2 days. PREPARATION: remove outer packaging leaving the pudding in the plastic bowls. Pierce film seal in several places. TO MICROWAVE: heat for the times indicated. TO STEAM: Place a heat resistant saucer in a saucepan to protect the pudding base from direct heat. Place pudding on top of saucer. Fill the saucepan with water to 13 the height of the bowl. Cover saucepan with a lid, bring to the boil and simmer for 40 minutes. Do not allow the saucepan to boil dry. Top up with water as necessary. When heated remove film seal from bowl and turn upside down onto a plate. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. CAUTION: contents will be hot. WARNING: take care when removing the seal as hot steam will scape. Ensure product is piping hot prior to serving. DO NOT REHEAT.Best beforeBatch: see front of pack.
