Source of fibre, protein, folic acid. INGREDIENTS: pearl BARLEY 55%, yellow split peas 18%, green split peas 9%, marrowfat peas 9%, split red lentils 9%. ALLERGENS: in CAPITALS, with cereals containing GLUTEN. May contain traces of other cereals with GLUTEN and SOYA. Product of more than one country, packed in the UK. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep airtight. PREPARATION (100g in 500ml water): Soak 8–12 hours, drain and rinse, place in a pan with 500ml water, boil 10 min and simmer 40 min until softened but slightly firm. Drain, rinse and use.
