Greens Quick Red Jel Sachet 35g

Ingredients: sugar, modified starch, gelling agents (E407, E263, E508), colourings (E166, E160bii), flavouring, acidulant (E330). Allergens: may contain traces of WHEAT. Nutritional information per 100g: energy 312kJ74kcal, fat 0.3g, saturates 0.2g, carbohydrates 18g, sugars 16g, protein 0.5g, salt 0.06g. Store in a cool, dry place. Preparation: drain the fruit (syrup or natural juice) and reserve the liquid. Fill the flan dish with pieces of fresh or tinned fruit. Heat the contents of the sachet in a saucepan with: for tinned fruit in syrup – 100ml syrup and 100ml water; for fruit in natural juice – 100ml juice, 100ml water, and 25g sugar; for fresh fruit – 200ml water and 25g sugar. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously, and boil for 1 minute. To avoid seeping through the base, the glaze should be cool but not set when poured over the fruit. Stir frequently and leave to cool for 10 minutes before spooning over fruit. Allow to set in a cool place until firm. Best before endlot: see back of pack.
